AFI-FS – Water Filtration System

MULTI GRADE FILTERS

The multigrade filters of the "AFI-FS," "ESP," and "GHL '' series have been designed to reduce particulate and colloidal matter in the water supply effectively. The Aqua Filsep multigrade filter works on the depth filter concept. Filters are charged with a mixture of coarse and fine quartz silica sand in the proper proportions. The advantage of graded mixed media is that it creates a filter bed with sufficient pore dimensions to hold both big and tiny suspended particles. These filters have a significantly greater specific flow rate than conventional filters.

Our conventional "ESP" and "GLH" filtering systems have flow rates ranging from 0.75 M3/hr to 210 M3/hr. The GHL Series is built of FRP, whereas the ESP Series is made of Mild Steel.

AFWTPL “AFI-FS “GHL Series filter

Standard filters in the GHL series are offered in twelve sizes to fulfill the demands of most industrial and commercial applications. The flow rates of the units range from 0.75M3/hr to 35 M3/hr.

SPECIFICATION
  • One Vertical Cylindrical FRP pressure vessel.
  • One initial charge of filter sand and under bed-material.
  • One set of internal water distribution and collection systems.
  • One set of frontal pipework and valve in corrosion-resistant plastic.
  • Two pressure gauges to monitor head loss across the filter.
AFWTPL “AFI-FS “ESP” Series filter

The AFI "ESP" line of industrial multigrade filters is designed to control colloidal and turbidity. There are thirteen models available, with flow rates ranging from 4 M3/hr to 210 M3/hr.
