The "AFI-DM-PAC '' range of packed two-bed upflow deionizers is based on AFI's current "Counter-Current" regeneration technology to provide pure demineralized water. The AFI-DM-PAC demineralization system offers pure demineralized water at a flow rate of 1.5m3/hr to 7.5m3/hr for a growing number of industries.
The units are made up of two pressure vessels that are linked in series and contain columns of Ion-Exchange resins.
The first column includes strong cation exchange resin, removing cation from water. The second column contains strong base anion exchange resin types 1 and 2, which remove anion from water, resulting in pure demineralized water. Different diameters of "AFI-DM-PAC'' are also available. The modular design allows for customization of the cation and anion columns.
If the feed water alkalinity is excessive, "AFWTPL" provides a combination of "AFI-DM-PAC" and "AFI DG" degasser systems, which is a perfect solution for minimizing operating costs.
